Opening an Account

It is easy to open an account. Call our Customer Service Department at your nearest branch. Generally, we can create an account immediately, or you may fill out a credit application and email or fax the form to the branch office.

Terms of Payment

New Accounts must be prepaid in full by any of our accepted payment methods:

Credit Cards: Visa and Mastercard.
Interact (Debit): Available for pick up orders only.
Online Banking: Our Payee Name is Avron Foods Limited (available 24/7).
Cheque: Our Payee Name is Avron Foods Limited.

Personal orders must be prepaid by Visa, Mastercard or Cash only.
Overdue accounts will be charged 2% per month on past due amounts.
For established accounts, terms are net 21 days from date of invoice, some restrictions apply.

Ways to Order

When placing an order, it is recommended that you include the product code numbers that appear in our catalogue or website. You can easily order by phone, fax, email or online.

Phone: Local or toll free to your nearest branch, Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm. After hours and holidays, leave your name and a call back number and one of our Customer Service Associates will return your call the next business day.

Fax: Local or toll free (if available) to your nearest branch, 24 / 7. Please include the following information to ensure accurate shipments:  your name, company name, phone number including area code, any specific shipping information, product codes and quantities.

Email & Mail: Send to your nearest branch, as noted above.

Catalogue and online prices do not include the cost of transportation or any applicable taxes. All prices shown are in Canadian funds.


For Canadian Customers:
Goods & Services (GST), Harmonized Taxes (HST) and/or (PST/QST) will be added to orders where applicable. Tax-Exempt Customers must provide tax exemption numbers (cards). For your reference, our business numbers are: Toronto: 87021 7551 RT0001; Quebec:  853470904RT0001 (GST) et 1218110581TQ0001 (QST); British Columbia: 79110 7121 RT0001.

For US Customers:
A Tax ID number must be provided upon ordering. Duty or any other taxes will be charged by the courier company and will have to be paid to them when applicable.

Special Orders

A limited number of our available items are not stocked in our warehouses, as they are built to order, or require a colour selection.  These Special Order products require a 50% deposit, and are subject to a restocking fee of 50% if cancelled after 24 hours upon confirming the order. These items are subject to a 4-6 weeks delivery time. Some sensory products are subject to a 10-12 week delivery time.

A proof of purchase receipt / invoice must be provided by the customer for items that are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty, (i.e. structural damage under normal use).  Photographs may be required to support warranty claims.

Shipping Information

We ship to anywhere in Canada & the United States; by our own trucks within the specified delivery service areas in the Greater Toronto Area, and by a courier or cartage company to all outside delivery service areas. Please see below for specified areas.

Canada (outside of GTA) and United States shipping costs:
Shipping charges will be added to any order based on the lowest courier price found by our shipping department. Customers will be notified if shipping charges are higher from the initial quote given upon ordering. All handling charges (i.e. border crossings, duty, brokerage fees, fuel surcharges, etc.) are the responsibility of the customer, and will either be added to their invoice or will be charged by U.S. Customs (as applicable) directly to the customer. All orders must be prepaid prior to shipping. We cannot ship to PO Boxes. Please provide physical addresses. Tax ID Numbers are needed for cross-border shipments.

Avron shipping costs within delivery service areas:
A minimum shipping charge of $30.00 applies to all orders less than $200.00 (before taxes) within the GTA. A minimum shipping charge of $50.00 applies to all orders less than $300.00 (before taxes) outside the GTA but within the delivery service areas.

Avron prides itself in shipping complete orders. However, in case of any shortages, customers will be informed.  Note that it is recommended you provide an alternate phone number for this purpose. If items are not available or become discontinued by the manufacturer, Avron has the right to cancel any backorders. Items not in stock at the time of processing your order will be shipped when available and invoiced separately.

Return Policy

Our goal is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt and contact our Customer Service Department if there are any discrepancies or damage claims with your shipment. This must be done within 24 hours upon receipt. Delays of more than 24 hours may result in carriers refusing to pay claims. All returned product should be unused and in original packaging and saleable condition. A restocking fee of 50% may apply to any items being returned and/or cancelled. In order to process your return quickly, and to ensure your account is credited correctly, every return must be authorized by our Customer Service Department, and accompanied by an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) form. Any returns sent without this form may not be adjusted accordingly. In order to avoid any errors, please verify your order before calling, faxing or emailing it to our office. Customers are responsible for shipping charges to return products ordered in error.

Product Availability & Pricing

Every attempt will be made to offer goods at the prices listed, and to maintain product availability. However, due to market and currency fluctuations, Avron reserves the right to discontinue items or change prices without notice. Some products may not be exactly as illustrated.
